The Forte Asia Trust (ARSN 123 126 769) is designed to give Australian investors access to the best boutique managers of Asian equities. Forte has identified four high conviction boutique fund managers and combined these to form the Forte Asia Trust. Forte closely monitors each of these managers and will make changes to the fund structure as required.
Forte's Chief Investment Officer, Dr Ian Lundy, has been researching fund managers and constructing multi-manager portfolios since 1997 and has held over 800 meetings with fund managers in that time. Dr Lundy has been researching Asian markets and fund managers since 2002, has met with more than 55 Asian fund managers and has an extensive network of contacts in the Asian funds management industry. He regularly travels to Asia to meet with fund managers.
The Forte Asia Trust targets investment in 11 Asian countries: Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and The Philippines. The fund may invest in other countries including Australia.
